Youth Steering Committee

The youth steering committee is a space for youth, created by youth!

Youth Steering Committee

The youth steering committee is a space to discuss youth mental health in the Hastings and Prince Edward communities to raise awareness about mental health and break down the barriers to accessing services. The committee gives feedback to Children’s Mental Health Services to make youth voices prominent in the organization, services and programs offered, and community events.

At our committee meetings we provide dinner for all attendees and can provide high school volunteer hours. We meet every other month at our Belleville office and positions are available to anyone between the ages of 12-25. Join the youth steering committee to lead change and make your voice heard while collaborating with other passionate youth to see your ideas come to life!

Learn more on our Instagram @cmhshpestudents and send us a message to join the committee!
